Nongcebo M. is the quintessential Zulu girl with a charismatic personality and an ever-growing love and curiosity for different forms of art. She is an ambivert with great communication skills and possesses strong leadership traits. Born and raised in Durban, KZN she is currently completing a bachelor’s degree in Motion Picture at AFDA. Nongcebo is a goal driven and passionate individual who strives to be the best version of herself and work smart at all times. She decided to go into the film industry because she wanted to have a creative influence in changing and growing the minds of people in the world around her, creating change and awareness through entertainment and authentic story telling. She has always had an undying love for amagama (words), writing scripts, songs, poetry and books which she plans to sell or have published in the near future in order to use as the building blocks to a successful future as an African artist.

Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. She attended Muizenberg High School where she was involved in the Film Club, writing and producing various short films before attending AFDA. She is currently studying for a Bachelor of Arts in motion picture medium specialising in Producing. She has great communication and organisational skills. She is a hard working individual who constantly strives to better her skills as a producer. Her goal is to have her own production company, producing and writing South African content.

Kaylynn Jacobs is a hard-working and aspiring filmmaker. She is focused, self-motivated and enjoys taking on new and exciting challenges that comes her way. She is a third year Script Writing student at AFDA in Cape Town. She has co-written on an experimental film called "Canvas". She has her very own YouTune channel and posts regular edits about whatever inspires her. She is passionate and always gives 100% to anything and everything she does. Ever since she was a little girl, she always had a love for writing, telling and sharing her stories, thus making her career choice, a simple decision. She aspires to one day produce and write her very own production for both televison and films at well-known production companies, i.e. Disney(Pixar, Dreamworks), Universal Studio's, etc.

Naserian Koikai is a young aspiring cinematographer, born in Kenya and raised in South Africa she has always had a passion for documenting life's treasures behind the lens and through various mediums of expression. She aspires to create her own content merging her love for poetry, fashion and film, with hopes of finding like minded people to collaborate with and someday start a company. For now she works as a freelance photographer and videographer, building towards her goals.

Xola Maswana is an inspiring filmmaker, she did an introductory course in film and currently she is doing her third year pursuing a degree in motion picture medium majoring in Production Design. She is the production designer for two experimental films “Lost God”and “Feet”. Outside of AFDA she is a short film director working with her team in growing the production company they have started. She is also part of the iKamva youth mentoring programme, mentoring a grade 12 learner and a part of the Unogwaja challenge teaching pre-school kids from Langa, English and helping them become active.

Kayla, 21, was born and raised in East London in the Eastern Cape. She attended Clarendon High School for Girls. When she is involved in a project, she always tries to do her best to achieve success. She has always believed in setting goals and taking the necessary steps to accomplish them. Creativity has always been her forte, so naturally she enjoyed the
editing process of filmmaking.

Composer

Richard Gauld, an inspired musician, music producer and scorer, currently in the process of working towards his BA degree in motion picture medium at AFDA Cape Town. He has already obtained a Masters Degree in Musical Performance, he aspires to bring his own sense of passion and uniqueness to the film industry. He is able to transform the ordinary characters into real life like beings. He achieves this through extensive knowledge in music composition
and creativity in his music.

Co- Costume Make-Up and Stylist

Michelle Stemmers is currently finishing her last year of a BA degree at AFDA Cape Town. She is an extremely hard working and dedicated individual. Her passion for what she is currently studying stems from writing and directing for numerous stage productions in High School. Her love for creating characters ultimately led her to major in costume makeup and styling; the physical embodiment or translation of character.

Lesleigh- Ann Eksteen grew up in a humble Christian household. Her parents were always encouraging her to follow her dreams. She had speech and muscular difficulties growing up, and it was improved and maintained at Vista Nova through various therapies such as horse riding. She believes in hard work, and not giving up until she realizes that she did my best.
